Lightweight and safe, these Measuring sticks are ideal for fast and accurate measurements of overhead lines, telephone and cable-TV lines, highway clearances, structures and bridges, and transport carriers.  Made with high-strength fiberglass, they feature positive locking, spring-loaded buttons for fast and easy extension.  They also feature eye-level reading at the top of the base section, so no calculations are required.  The foam-filled tip section has a plastic hook from which point of measurement is made.  Available with English (feet/inch) or Metric (meter/centimeter) units of measurement.

Heavy Duty "Trucker's" Measurement Sticks have 4-foot cross arm at the top to easily measure height of loads on trailers. Heavy Duty sticks may also be used with a variety of tip-end attachments. 

Optional Storage Canister Kit provides easy lockable storage for a pole on tractor chasis or frame.

Maximum length of pole manageable by an individual with good physical strength is limited to 10 meters (~30 feet)*.  This is due to the nature of relative weight of the far end of the pole at distance.  Beyond 10 meters is beyond the reasonable limits of an individual's personal strength and ability to control the hook-end of the pole. 

When a pole extended more than 10 meters is to be used, it is required to have the assistance of additional persons and use of counterweight on pole base is recommended.
