The LANX Type I Fabric Chemical Protective Undergarment is manufactured with a durable composite fabric containing polymerically encapsulated carbon for the adsorption of chemical warfare agents. Originally designed in 1991 for the United States Special Forces, LANX I is the only fabric approved for chemical protective undergarments (CPU) by the U.S. Military based on the Joint Services Light Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) test program. Our current product line also includes, overgarments, hoods, gloves and boot liners.

LANX I fabric features excellent air permeability promoting evaporative cooling, consequently reducing heat stress. LANX I fabric also possesses unique stretch characteristics providing exceptional mobility and comfort. The polymerically encapsulated carbon prevents sweat poisoning and maximizes the adsorbent's performance. Tests of LANX fabric performed in conjunction with a fire resistant overgarment on DuPont's "Thermo-Man" reflected an impressive degree of enhanced flash fire protection. This benefit makes the undergarments attractive to a number of agencies outside of the military such as law enforcement, fire departments, first responders, government contractors, hazardous material response agencies and special security details.

US Army Special Forces: Soldiers use the CPU beneath the Battle Dress Uniform(BDU), appropriate gloves, boots and respiratory protection to establish MOPP 4.

Technical Escort Unit: Members use the CPU beneath a Tyvek R "F" Suit for enhanced vapor protection and to act as back up protection in the event the outer suit is breached.

Law Enforcement: Officers wear the CPU beneath coveralls, riot gear or duty uniforms for tactical operations, crowd control or security functions.

Bomb Squads (E.O.D.): Technicians wear a CPU beneath a bomb suit to protect the integrity of their chemical protection and to optimize their maneuverability and comfort while working. Technicians also value the enhanced flash fire protection offered by the CPU in this configuration.

Joint Services Aviation: US Army, Navy, and Marine Corp Aviation have adopted the modified CPU for wear beneath flight suits as the approved JPACE Interim protective ensemble.

National Guard WMD Civil Support Teams: Team members use the CPU beneath a full range of apparel to include BDUs, Level A and Level B Suits for an additional layer of vapor protection.

Work glove enables limited tactile perception, durable use for manual labor with good breathability.  Leather palm is water-proof and high-strength.

Provides more than 24 hours protection against Chemical Warfare (CW) agents.  Ergonomical design provides correct finger and hand dimensions as well as a tighter wrist to keep the glove firmly on the hand.

Thin (0.022” / 0.56mm) antistatic, bromobutyl material assures excellent tactility.   Textured fingertips and palms provide improved dexterity and grip.

Better fit, feel and physical properties than dipped gloves.  Rounded fingertips further facilitate the manipulation of small items (i.e., keyboard use, ammunition).

To increase user comfort, this new glove includes a patented Coolmax^®, Lycra and Viscose liner.  Liner is been specially designed for comfort allowing quick absorption of perspiration by the Viscose.  Lycra offers great elasticity and Coolmax^®, a revolutionary Dupont's fibre, helps wick the perspiration away from the body, where it dries faster than on any other fabric.
